2007 was a career crossroads time for the founders of Concord Link Co., Ltd. Do we continue working for a multinational or put our money where our mouths are and do something ourselves? We decided the latter as we believed the value gap for retailers and consumers between China and the rest of the world was too large.
We felt retailers deserved a better deal and put our knowledge together with a great team in China to focus on the constant innovation we could deliver.
We now have the fabulous team we dreamt of, with the majority based in China. Except for some critical local market roles, such as our design team, trend forecasting and some sales.
Today we are honoured to be working together with some of the best retailers in the world designing the home décor products of tomorrow. Manufacturing ourselves or with our partners, but always controlled by own quality teams delivering market leading ranges.
Innovation and daring to swim the other way is encouraged. Understanding that we will make mistakes, but being humble enough to know we can always learn more each day and grow in our knowledge to deliver the quality and service our customers deserve.
